Health Services

Bioenvironmental Engineering Flight (BEF)

We serve on the front line of protecting Airmen, employees, and their families by blending full spectrum, occupational health risk surveillance with preventative medicine support. We provide Team Robins with the operational health expertise required to enhance commander decision making, optimize human performance and support medical services in maintaining readiness capabilities of the warfighter. We monitor and advise 80 workplaces on proper respiratory protection. Gas mask and respirator fit testing is also conducted for personnel deploying and industrial workers enrolled in the respiratory protection program. We work with Civil Engineering to ensure the installation's drinking water is safe and meets all regulatory compliance standards. As the office of the Installation Radiation Safety Officer, we guide the radiation safety program for multiple organizations. We also support the emergency response force, providing valuable health risk assessments to commanders during HAZMAT and CBRN operations.
