Women's Health & Pregnancy

Women's Health refers to comprehensive women’s health care as well as health issues that are unique to women, including:

• Pregnancy
• Menopause
• Conditions of the Female Organs

Be sure to get early and regular prenatal care to ensure you have a healthy pregnancy. You should also get recommended breast cancer, cervical cancer, and bone density screenings.
Our goal is to ensure the health and readiness of all women at every stage of life.

Women's Health Services

We provide the following Women’s Health services at the 78th Medical Group:

• Well woman exam/WH preventative care
• Irregular menstruation
• Cycle concerns
• Breast concerns
• Vaginitis
• Endometrial biopsy
• Vaginal biopsies (external)
• Contraceptive Care/Birth control (IUD, Nexplanon, depo, pills, patch, ring)
• Menopause concerns
• Dysplasia/colposcopies

We do not offer OB care or urinary concerns care. If a referral is needed off base, we can place those. However, WH at Robins is self refer. You do not need a referral from your PCM.

How to Make An Appointment

To make an appt, the patient calls the appointment line at 478-327-7850. All procedures (colpo, iud, nexplanon, biopsies) will be scheduled by the WH nurse.

TRICARE Covered Services

TRICARE covers well-woman exams annually for women under age 65 with no cost-share or copayment. TRICARE offers coverage for many women’s health services, including:

• Well-Woman Exam
  • Breast Exams
  • HPV DNA Testing
  • Pelvic Exams
  • Pap Smears
• Reproductive Health Services
  • Birth Control
  • Labor and Delivery
  • Pregnancy Care
  • Prenatal Care
